I have been tending to our church Prayer List for a while now.  

As always it seems there are more and more names added.  I have been left to wonder how many people pick up this list and actually read it.  I have been late at adding names and updating it promptly a few times.  I often have no exuse.  However this does take some time.  I am like everyone else on this earth busy, tired and still left with no exuse to not make some time for God.  He should be first anyway, remember?  

    Recently I have felt a growing need for prayer and for me to somehow bring the power of prayer to the attention of those around the world. One night I felt a strong urge to get in touch with as many as possible and ask them to pray for a church member named Danny.  Danny has been very sick. Let the doctors say what they will, I know that God can do anything.  That night we all had 5 minutes of prayer around 10 PM. My friend and brother in Christ Danny felt a change and felt better all week.

Lets keep prayer at the top of our list and devote 5 minutes from our day to change a life.  It won't cost you a thing, just Prayer-for-5.
